It is a Sunnah of the Prophet, pbuh, that he never vilified any kind of food so long as it is permissible, however, he politely apologizes for not eating,.jpg)
Allah Almighty created mankind different, some live somewhere and love certain things and dislike other things, therefore, their moods and inclinations are different, so Islam showed respect to this difference so long as it does not violate the limits of Shariah.
It is normal acceptable to find someone likes a certain kind of food very much, while another does not like it at all. The Prophet, pbuh, paid much respect and appreciation for that, so it is his Sunnah that He never vilified any kind of food so long as it is halal, permissible, however, he used to apologize politely from eating it, and at the same time he reveals it permissible for the eater, though he, pbuh, himself does not like it, which demonstrates perfect politeness of the Prophet., pbuh.
Abu-Hurarah, may Allah be pleased with him, related that the Prophet, pbuh, never vilified a food, if he liked it, he ate it, but if he did not like it, he left it", narrated by Al-Bukhari, and Muslim narrated also on the authority of Abu-Hurairah the same.
Also, the Prophetic Sunnah holds similar occasions of the same, where it is narrated in Bukhari on the authority of Khaled ibn Al-Waled who said: " A grilled dabb brought before the Prophet and He, pbuh, started to eat, but it is said to him: this is dab, O Messenger of Allah!, hence he abstained from eating. Khaled said: Is it unlawful, O Messenger of Allah! The Prophet said: No, it is not unlawful, but it is not common at my land, so I feel disgust for." Khaled ate and the Prophet kept looking to him.
Here, in this Hadith, the Prophet, pbuh, declared the reason why he does not like this certain kind of food, he justified his act, and he has not vilified the taste or form of the dabb not to negatively impact the one who likes such kind of food.
